I know that this is an old post, but here's my two cents. I installed the four wheel Leg Up Landing gear on my 01 Ultra. Cornering clearence IS reduced. There ain't nothing like touchihg those spring loaded wheels on pavement in a corner. The actuator has a tendency to "leak down" on long rides,(see cornering clearence) They will hold the bike vertical at a stop. You can manually raise and lower the wheels with the push button on the handelbars. I didn't like the auto-up and down feature cuz it came up to late and down to soon for me (just my preference) If you are paddling the bike forward while on the seat you can get your feet caught between the training wheels and the ground. Dont' ask how I know. I have upgraded to an 09 ultra and the wheels won't fit the new frame, I am thinking sidecar. Jetsam

This is FAR from anything new! Here is a 1915 Militaire that comes with a set up from the factory.
