Default Sidecar is Installed

Took us about 10 hours. I had to weld a boss onto the frame for a mount. Have the toe in set at 5/8" and the ride height is level. Unable to use my lower fairings though unless I trip them some. Only need to wire my spotlight. Test ride will be tomorrow as it is late.

Looks awesome! Keep us posted on how it rides. Did you do any tree modifications?
I've got a Hannigan Astro 2+2 I'm working on getting hooked to my Ultra. I want to try it without any front end mods and see how it goes.

I have the 5 degree triple trees on my bench. I want to ride the bike as is for awhile so that once I install them I'll be able to get a comparison.

Will do. I have a large school parking lot nearby that I intend to practice in first.

Took my first ride. Went out for 7 miles and all was good. First time with a sidecar. Learned what I read about slowing down for right turns. Didn't have any ballast so it was interesting.

Came back and took my nephew. Ride was much easier with his 165# frame in the car. Seems to be aligned good and it wasn't hard to drive. Noticed having to muscle the bars a bit in turns. Glad I have the raked trees waiting to install. Might go ahead and put them in next week.

The 124" was a good move. No issue at all accelerating or maintaining speed when climbing a hill. First sidecar experience was a good one!

That looks like a lot of work and money, but it looks awesome! What made you decide to add the sidecar if I may ask?

I spend a lot of time deployed and this will allow my wife and daughter to be able to ride with me. We plan on taking trips and going camping together. Have to make the best of our time together and me riding alone isn't as fun.
