i just installed my sidecar last night and noticed that the lights will stay on for a few minutes then shut off for 10 sec. then go back on. something is getting hot then shutting down. it is a factory installed harley sidecar that i purchased last year. i removed the sidecar as soon as i bought to do repairs, now this is the first time i rode with installed. also the voltage regulator reads 13 volts then spikes down to 8 sometimes and bike sputters.do i have too many lights installed, the sidecar has 3 headlights on front along with the standard running lights.

 

just found it, after adding hack w/the extra lights it was tripping out main breaker. i check it and the prevour owner had a 15amp main breaker installed.i put in a 30 amp all is good.
