Default Pulling trailer with Ultra

How does pulling a trailer affect the Harley? I have an Escapade Classic that I pulled behind a Goldwing and you didn't even know it was there. Do you get any sway or anything I should worry about. Any response appreciated.

You'll have no problems with a dresser either as long as you load it right and keep your tongue weight around 20-25 lbs.

+1.
I have a piggy backer and a Aspen Sentry pop up that i pull. 25# max w/ the piggybacker and 35#max on the pop up. Same as with a auto...little longer to take off/stop...but other than that OK.

Pulled one for years behind a UC....no issues. Just load it and operate it as you do the Wing.....what year UC? my 88" motor was a little taxed in the Mt's, but nothing it couldn't handle, just a little more shifting.

The 96" 07 does just fine....

Have pulled a Bushtec for couple years now with an Ultra. Really don't know it is there most of the time. Should be the same as your Wing.

Mine is a stock 88ci with stage 1 and touring mufflers. Have no had a problem except on long hills had to downshift. My friends get up to speed a little faster than I do but they also want to put their extra stuff in our trailer!

I'm pulling a Aspen sentry with a 08 HD Classic. I find the six speed gearing a little steep, especaly first gear. Notto say it won't work, just have to kinda slip the clutch a little on take off. I liked the gearing in the olderfive speeds much better.
I really like the new Bremo brakes for stopping the extra weight of the trailer though. So I guess it's a trade off.

I pull a bushtec turbo 2 with my 98 roadking and my 07 ultra they both pull it real well in fact you can forget it's back there so just remember to slow for the down hill corners and think way a head and you'll be fine

I also pull a Bushtec Turbo II. Absolutely no problems for over 20K miles. Normal awareness of fast stops and steep mountains is prudent, but the extra visibility of the extra lights in back are comforting.

G wizz, I have the same feeling you are having in 1st gear. I called HD with that question. They assured me everything was fine. Requires less shifting when using "Longer Gears" as he put it.
