I agree with everything that's been said so far about the Bushtec trailers and their "proprietary" hitch. We pull a Turbo+2 with our '07 Ultra and LOVE it! The hitch pin/heim joint system that Bushtec designed gives me the ultimate in confidence and control. You truly don't notice the trailer except on braking and acceleration.

I have to plus that a dozen times or so, also. I have a "brand X" trailer, KARGO brand, made sometime in the early 90's, fiberglass with an aluminum frame. Pulls great behind my '07 UltraClassic. Like all the rest, I do realize a bit slower stopping and a harder pull on the engine, especially uphill. Actually sixth gear is all but useless except out on the Interstate or on highways you can kick it up to about 70 mph. I find 6th not very accomodatingunless you are above 60mph, and with the trailer behind you riding two up, that compounds the problem a bit more. Just takes a bit of getting used to to regulate you driving habits allowing for pulling the trailer, just like everyone else has said. The HD will not run with a 'Wing, with or without the trailer. Just don't have that kind of power. Ahhh, but it's a Harley, 'nuff said.....
