Anyone Have Any Issues With A Biker Bar?
#13
Ok so this past weekend we FINALLY got to use the enclosed motorcycle trailer for what we purchased it for. We used the biker bars with no issues whatsoever. About 200 miles round trip. Some of which included steep mountains with lots of turns. I was so impressed with how easy the whole process was to load and unload. I added some inexpensive removable wheel chocks up front just in case.
Probably a subject for a separate thread, but since this was actually a combined camping trip/bike ride, I modified the trailer for sleeping. Since it is 14 ft, we had plenty of room to throw down some old blankets and use the air mattress. I built an arch in the back with 2x4's with hooks and purchased custom screens with grommets for the rear and side doors. Instant airflow. When it got cold at night we just closed the ramp. I was pressed for time to get it ready so I need to work on re-positioning the hooks for better screen tightness and create some sort of feed-thru for an electric cord. I'll post pics when I can
