2007 Trike for Sale-Need suggestions
Hey all, brother-n-law is thinking of getting one and came across this...What do you think ?
23k miles, 4k,. Seller (woman) is getting divorced and moving and needs to sell it. Sounded like a decent deal.
Fr: Seller: "Well maintained, one owner, 23,400 miles. Never had or need any paint work, garaged keep always, without any mechanical problems, electric is working perfectly. The final price is $4.000. Because of my divorce settlement, I own this trike and I don`t need it so I'm trying to get rid of it as soon as possible"

If it is as good as it looks in the pic and the seller's declaration then I'd say it is a heck of a deal. Couple things about the 2007s. This was the first year for the 96 cu in motor and everyone complained about how hot they ran. I had a 2007 CVO with the 110 cu in motor and it was hot as hell. Free flowing exhaust with a cross under type header and a good tune solved that problem. Also 2007 was the first year for the 6-speed cruise drive transmission and Harley screwed it up badly - by that I mean it was gear WAY to high making it difficult to start off especially two-up and loaded. A 30-tooth trans sprocket (which is what the factory Tri-Glides use) and a new drive belt to work with it solved that problem too. So worst case if these mods have not been done he'd have to spend a few $$ to do them. Good luck and let us know the outcome please.
