Here are the aluminum adapters I made using a band saw.

Here they are installed. I actually had carriage bolts on hand for a smooth look.

Note the position of the floorboards. The Wyatt boards appear to be just below the timing cover and not near as far forward. These are going to be comfy for my 6'3" carcass.

Can you shoot me a closeup of the shift lever and linkage at the front of the floor board. It looks like you used your street bob piece (the shiny steel piece that is) that goes from the inboard section of the splined shaft up to the shift rod, is that correct? Also, did you buy just the softail floorboard and mounts, or did what you bought come with the brake cylnder as well? thanks for the pics.

Bought it all together. It took me about a year to finally get a set on eBay for under $150 (it became a mission). all linkage and brake parts are Softail. The brake master cylinder is actually the same part as the Dyna but I needed to move it up front (Softail style) to get the brake switch away from the exhaust cross-under.

Does your mount setup on those boards use the mid-control mount holes on the frame, or are the front holes the primary means of securing the boards to the frame, with your fabricated adapters? How did you get the connector which is welded to the splined shaft up to the shift rod? Isn't the softail connector shorter than the dyna? see arrows on your pic at this link:

How's the rear fender extension coming along?

They go on the forward mounts.I am not sure what you are asking with the shifter, everything fits and works. I might even move the jiffy stand up to the front.

I like the set up and definitely lot cheaper than the wyatt kit. I was just curious how the linkage connected on a dyna frame and how the shift rod connected. I was looking at the softail setup at the dealer the other day and couldn't figure out. That's good news though, that it all works. Will that splined shaft accept the heel lever as well? Kind of hard to see on the pic. I'd still like to see a close up of the entire left side to see the linkage, if you get a chance. Is there a certain year group I should look for with this set up? Why would you move jiffy stand?

There are 2 specific year groups for the floorboards bracketry. 1999 and older (Softail Evo) and 2000 and newer (Softail Twin Cam). Mine are the newer. Mine came without a heel shift lever, I'll just get another or take it off my old forward controls. I think moving the JIffy Stand may make it easier to put up on my lift and when I get off my Electra-Glide and get on the Dyna I can never find the Jiffy Stand without having to look around for it!

Here's a photo of the shifter linkage ... the shift lever mounts on the floorboard bracket and uses a longer rod--I think the same length/interchangeable with Wide Glide ....
... a closer view of the bracket, with shift levers (love the 'girder' levers) ....
