Greaseball: MoCo significantly changed the geometry of the Touring front ends in late-80's or early-90's forget when precisely; but, bottom line is it won't work with a Dyna (the steering head is leading the forks on Touring models so the frame extends a little further forward of the forks, whereas steering head is trailing on Dyna, Softail, XL and V-Rod models) ....
I don't see why you could not use a 41mm touring right-side lower slider (with a mount for a brake caliper) on a Softail front end ... would just need to ensure proper measurements of the fork tube length, but otherwise, should work to get you dual front discs ....
