So what I think I'm seeing on the chart is 150/16 will fit on the 16X3 no problem right? The tire size that came on these rims is harder to understand, the rear called for MU85B16--in english I think thats about a 140. I'd like to go 150 if I can next tire change in about 30K miles
. these American elite touring tires last compared to the other style tires I used to run. I'd get 5000 out of the rear and 10,000 up front on Dunlops 401's, GT's and night dragons.
Blueangel for what its worth I got a set of 2008 Deluxe take off wheels, both 16X3. Had to lace a dyna hub to the rear using the deluxe spokes and hoop. For the front, initially I added a ¼" rotor spacer to get things to line up in the front. Now with softail front end no spacer required. I guess theres other ways of getting it too go with the fat bob trees by changing wheel offset, not sure.
