I'm supposed to be doing work...but maybe I'll run out to the garage for a smoke and do some more measuring... I didn't know they made spacers like that.

If the 1" and 1" spacers you currently use put your wheel in the center of the legs, won't a 7/8" and a 1-1/8" offset the wheel? If you where to grind down the caliper, would you do it totally off the bike? I'd set it in a vise (soft jaw kind) so the two mounting point are level and grind down to a point and then run a file across both to finish the shave and maintain level or maybe do the same, but on the fork leg, or half and half. Keeping the mag center would be the priority.

Ok. I switched the disk to the other side of the wheel; the same so I put it back.
It does appear to be more towards the brake leg....and it is only 1/8" off.
Yeah...I was thinking that as well...I'll have to do some more precise measuring later; I got distracted from my ash tray getting knocked over in the garage.

for your safety buy the brembo brake that works with those legs , or the right legs for your brake .

It is centered currently. I measured from the inner mag to the inner fork.
So with Sonny's advice in mind...I might just grind into the caliper...if I mess up I'll buy a new one.
But now I'm wondering the tolerances if I do get some 1-1/8 and 7/8 spacers...it'd only be off by 1/8". I REALLY don't think it'll matter THAT much, but then again...what if it does?

My front wheel is about an 1/8" off center. I run spoked wheels, but Thad them completely powder coated, so I can adjust the spokes....lesson learned. Anyway, the bike ride great, I can't tell any difference in the way it rides or handles, but I can tell it's off center when I look at it.

spacers would be cheaper than buying a new caliper, also is there enough meat on the caliper to grind 1/8, sonnydaze he has softail lower legs so no brake on the right side

Thats what I'm thinking....then I'll keep my ebay ears open for a cheap brembo caliper.
But this will get me on the road...

I didn't have time to read all the last few posts but I also used the softail legs. These legs were new for 2008 and will only accept a 25mm softail axle (2008 and newer). They will accept your brake caliper but they will not work with
any
Electra Glide wheel. You must use all the spacers etc for a 2008+ FLS Softail wheel including the wheel.
I went through all of this last winter on my bike.
If you want to use that Fat Boy fender, you will need to go all 2008+ Softail. If you are willing to use a fuller FLH fender, than change the legs to FLH also.

Kitch, here is a pic of the speedo.
Lowered down the wing, looks way better.
Test fit the 16", still need more offset adjustment.
