So I mostly finished up today. A few pics:

Nice direction! Late 30s bobber style with the fenders, 40s style war paint. Black rims are critical. 1/2 moon footboards, nice rounded brake pedal. Handlebars with the coke bottles are excellent.
Lose the passenger pegs and attach a square tin, black tool box maybe? Eventually a 2 into 1 exhaust vintage muffler perhaps. I love the seat setup but would take advantage of it and use the wider police seat that started in the 20s.
All in all, a great bike with beautifully tied together theme. Consistent throughout. How does the front end feel? It took me several attempts to get the tree tension set just right.

Crazy--Outstanding--Homerun right there! Would you mind sharing which seat kit your running? I'd like to do 3" springs but they angle the seat too much with my current set up. Your seat sits perfect. The solo bag (clearer in the dyna section photo's) adds a nice touch.

Losing the tank lift was also critical. 2 or 3 inches off the leading edge of the front fender would also work well if you need more too late to use ideas! Gloss black for the battery/electrical covers.
I like this bike a lot.

AFMM3 , was hoping you can do me a small favor, could you measure the distance between the top fork clamp and to the centre of the axle, I feel like my shovel front end is sitting high and was looking to lowering it and don't want to go to low and have issues with fender hitting engine guard Thx

AFMM3: Thanks a lot. I like your suggestions, but the rear pegs come in handy for long rides for changing my position around. I use this bike to tour on. I also have a full seat to put on for when I want to give my daughter a ride.
Seat? I can already tell this is an around town or short (200 miles or less) day ride seat. A larger one may take care of that, but I know I'll be putting my old seat back on for long rides.
"All in all, a great bike with beautifully tied together theme."
Especially thanks for that. I think you have the best bike here, so that means a lot coming from you. I'd been thinking about this project for a few years, but when I saw the most recent incarnation of your bike, I finally decided to go ahead and do it.

AMMF3: Also, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the exhaust. I've got the bike really well dialed in with cams, intake, and a really good dyno tune with my TTS, all with the current exhaust. I'll probably leave well enough alone. This is a daily rider that I usually ride about 10,000 miles a year. That's the reason I went with the Metzlers rather than vintage rubber also.
Interesting you mention the front end. I'm pretty sure that I have the tension set correctly, but I have a klunk in the front end over bumps, mostly on rebound but sometimes on compression as well. I put Progressive suspension monotubes in, but I need to double check the steering bearings before I call them. I'm hoping it is just the bearings, but I'm not holding by breath.

Always loved the John Wayne movie too."
That's a Drag Specialties seat and mount with 3" springs. My dads oldest brother was in the 13th Air Force in the Pacific in WWII also. I've got something painted on the front fender about that. I'll get a pic later.

Thank you very much. That's what I was trying to do. I really appreciate the comments everyone.
