Just got back from a 3,000+ mile trip down the Mississippi River. Found this place as we were driving by.
The bike drove great. The seat is fantastic for long rides. The Fat Bob shocks are truely an incredible piece of technology. The ride is more comfortable than on my Ultra. I could listen to these pipes for days on end without tiring of it. I was wearing out the rubber bushings prematurely though. I have settled on a new design and will probably start on it right away. I will post pictures of the new design.
I got an incredible amount of thumbs up from cars driving next to me and people yelling out their windows at stop lights wanting to know what it was or what year it was (especially after it had gotten really dirty from Interstate rain). A Harley dealer mechanic in Arkansas was so interested, I thought he would get fired for spending most of an hour with us. My father might make a few more changes to his bike as he was not too happy that my Duo-Glide got all the "Respect" and his was virtually ignored. He is going to start with AMF stickers!
