I used about 16 10 foot x 3/4 inch diameter pipes and a bunch of tee fittings, including a few three ways. The dimensions I used are roughly 9x9x7 feet high. I used 10x25 length of plastic and cut to size to cover the entire structure. On one side I installed with duct tape a furnace filter for the intake, and another furnace filter on the opposite side for the exhaust. A box fan on the outside to draw the air through to the outside of my garage. I supported the 'ceiling' with a cross beam of PVC and a couple diagonals coming down for when I hang my tank. I used a tarp on the bottom. Outside of the paint booth I keep my back garage door open with a fan drawing fresh air into the garage, and another box fan at the garage front to aid in ventilation. It probably took me a total of 2 hours to get it all together and seal everything up with some duct tape. The filters work well for the little painting I'm doing. The exhaust already has a tint of primer on it. I definitely am using a half-face respirator (3M with P95 cartridges). I'm also wearing goggles which seal around my eyes, a home depot paint suit with hood and booties (did I lose cool points on the botties?). Also wearing nitrile gloves. The urethane paint is some nasty stuff, and technically I should be using a supplied air respirator. it gets into not just your mouth and nose, and but can permeate your eyes as well, hence the goggles. Maybe some overkill, but I came out of the booth clean today. I can post a picture of the booth later for you. It wasn't hard just drew a little diagram and went from there. PVC square frame on the bottom and top, supported by 7 upright pipes, for the door and the ceiling support.
