On Saturdays a few of my friends and I plan rides in Ohio , West Virginia, Pa, and New York, the rides range from 250 to 350 usually. This past Saturday we left Youngstown, Ohio around 7:30 am and headed down route 11 and go on route 7 along the ohio river just past Bridgeport, ohio we crossed the bridge to Moundsville ,West Virginia and headed south on route 2 to Sistersville , West Virginia , in Sistersville we got on a ferry and crossed back over to route 7 . The ferry captain is Ed Mars and the ferry runs all week. The trip went from route 7 to route 800, route 26, route 148, route 9 and then home. the picture is my friend Joe and his harley getting on the ferry.the ride was about 280 miles . Route 800 is good highway very scenic with large hills and valleys with some forest.Route 26 is awesome , a windy route with forest and creeks and farm land. Got home about 6 pm.

 

When I lived in Canton, OH one of my favorite rides would be. Taking 800 south to Fly, OH head west on 7 to 77 then north to home. And sometimes I would reverse the trip.
