ABATE of Indiana, the Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership and the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute are proud to announce the inaugural Motorcycle Awareness Rally on Monument Circle in Indianapolis. This event to kick off Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Month as proclaimed by Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Thursday May 6, 2010.
A number of activities to increase awareness of motorcycles are planned which will include a large display of police and civilian motorcycles from around the state, a fashion show highlighting the protective qualities of motorcycle gear, numerous displays, exhibits, demonstrations and speakers from governmental agencies and the motorcycling community.
Everyone is welcome to attend as we remind Hoosiers that “Motorcycles Are Everywhere”!
