Anyone going to ride with the Governor and do the Indiana Governor's Ride on October 10-11. It is an overnighter this year. I've been told that few hundred bikes go on this ride.

I've made motel reservations at the hotel but if the weather gets bad, we may change our minds.

 

No one interested?

Forecast for the first day, Friday is Partly sunny and 71 degrees. Second day, Saturday, is mostly sunny and 74 degrees. Its not just called the Governor's ride, he actually does go on this ride with his Harley.

 

I won't be able to make it. Been out of town all this weekend and I'll be out of town all next weekend too. This "work" thing is really starting to get in the way of my life, I need a winning lotto ticket.

Guess I'll have to get some riding in this week before I have to head back up north.

Al, sorry you can't make it. Bruce and Phil are planning to do the ride along with me. We're all staying at the French Lick Springs Hotel Friday night. The ride will be fun, but the night at the hotel and casino will also add more fun to the trip. As many casinos do, they have a great dinner buffet. After dinner we can check the rest of the resort and casino out.

 

I'll be on the ride. Made my reservation at the French Lick Springs Hotel...Governor has a "good" rate.

This is one ride that I take a vacation day for!!

Another great ride! I'm just lovin' this weather.

Probably about 250 bikes on the ride. Police escorted the entire two day ride. Didn't have to stop for a stop light or stop sign for two days of riding. Had a great hog roast lunch on second day on some farm. The General flew in for the hog roast.
