Default North West IL - Good biker hangout/eating?

Being new to the Mid-West, does anyone know any good places to ride out to in the North Western part of IL? Just somewhere a lot of bikes like to ride to, grab something to eat, and hang out for a bit.

Chris take a look at this thread for a good ride and a great place to eat. Its a bit out of IL. but not far. There is one smaller problem Breitbach's burned down Christmas eve day but from what Ive heard he's supposed to be rebuilt and open for business by the middle of June. Its a great place and very biker friendly.

Sounds like he'll be up and running around the middle of June.

From Savanna on up, there's many better than just "good" places to stop. It's up to you to decide which one's right for you. Different crowd hangs at every different one.

I like Messie's it's right off the Rock River just past where Rt 2 hits Rt 64 not big but works for me.-

Don't forget South East Wisconsin: Try to hit The Bunker and Knuckleheads almost always loaded with bikes and the food's decent.

Great info! I will research the routes tonight (at work now)! Not looking for anything huge... just a good hamburger or something.

On rides you'd be surprised how many of our early morning meeting locations include a McDonalds

Hot Coffee - Restrooms - Egg McMuffins etc,etc all the essential

Lunch is an entirely different story
