Wife and I had our day planned...Breakfast at Franks Diner...Bike blessing at Ukes and then head out to Roundup. Guess we are going to have to find a poker run to go to instead.

 

HeyTHANKYOU bubbas1 for putting this story out here in the forum last night.It gave me a chance to contact friends who were going to meet me at my house before going over to the Fairgrounds.I live in Grayslake and I'll be looking out for any info on what happened.

No big deal,Sunday looks like mostly sunny and low 60's,we'll be out there racking up some miles.

 

Thanks for giving us the heads up..I think it is Fukin' unbelievable and complete bull menure!!! Will have to go out and run some miles up there anyway.......................................Let's all go to Austin's and show our support and have some libations!!!

 

I just heard this morning and dropped Mark a email to confirm. Guess it's not needed. That's crazy, I wonder if there have been any issues between some rival MC clubs that have the village administration concerned. If so that would be a shame. Mark has always had a very orderly rally and I've never heard of any issues.The planning and money that was spent had to be hugh, it's not enough you have to worry about the weather.... now a last minute thing like this. Sounds like we should take the party to Austin's !!!!

 

That is very diasappointing, I got a call from ryan lastnight and I was shocked. I guess there is more to the story then what is said. Something very shady with the village is going on. Ill make sure not to support anything that has to do with grayslake from now on.

 

I was over in Libertyville during the late afternoon and saw a CBS News Truck in Austin's parking lot.A couple of hours later passed the Grayslake Fairgrounds and saw the same CBS truck out there snapping pics of the Fairgrounds,SIgns etc...

Now that the Ironhorse is cancelled The Illinois / Wisconsin Motley Bikers are throwing together a quickly organizedride tomorrow (Sunday)I'll post details right here in the Greatlakes forum as soon as I can.

This is horsesh!t. Ride my brothers, ride throughout Grayslake all day tomorrow. Obey the law but ride up and down every street in the town and let them know we are not happy.

 

I also had this as my plans for tomorrow. I to will also be boycoting grayslake.
