Great ride today! The poker run from Southside HD was great! At the festivities tonight they said they raised something over $200,000 on the 7 poker runs that they ran today. The band Eclipse was pretty good to listen after a day long run and it was nice relaxing to their music with a few cold ones. A really nice day! Looking forward to tomorrow's big ride!

 

I worked Saturday and by the time I got off work I was covered in mud so I missed the poker runs and what looked like a good time. This is for a good cause but I had a blast anyway on the run. Ran into some friends and got to go around the track as hard as I could hit that Dyna. I am sunburned though. Eclipse has been around Indy for as long as I can remember. Good band.

 

Today's ride was a lot of fun for me too. Met a few people and enjoyed the weather. It was cool that they closed a bunch of intersections downtown so we could run through the downtown area. I understand that was a new route this year. It was strange running around the banked curves on the Indy Speedway, they are really banked. I was alble to open it up when we first got on the track on the back straight away, but we had to slow down after that because there were other people going a lot slower in front of us.

 

This is how the Miracle Ride ended after we ran through downtown Indianapolis. 10,000 riders riding two abreast for miles.
