Thinking of doing another ride on Sunday morning weather permitting. Not sure where exactly but I'm sure it will be towards Utica/Seneca and that area. Also open for suggestions, I understand that there are a few good burger/bars south west. I would say meet at around 10:00am and leave by 10:30am(this is not in stone). Anyway looking for a head count ?

If you guys are looking for some nice backroads on the way to Starved Rock, I've got a really nice route. Perhaps you may have ridden some of these, then again...maybe not. Don't know where y'all are coming from, but get yourselves onto Rt. 6 in Channahon...head west...after you cross the Dupage River, you will see a detour sign for Ridge Road...follow the detour signs...it will lead you into a subdivision at the intersection of Rt. 6 and Bell Road. Follow the detour signs and you will end up on Hansel Road...continue west on Hansel Road...it will become Cemetery Road. Follow this road to the next intersection (McClindon Rd) and turn left to continue on Cemetery Road. Stay on this road and it will dump you into Morris, right near Rt. 47. Once in Morris, make your way to Jefferson St...head east on Jefferson until you get to a stop sign that indicates the road ahead is a Dead End/No Outlet. Make a left and follow this road...it's called Old Stage Road. It's an awesome little backroad with very little traffic and some nice twists (well...for IL, that is). This road will lead you right into Seneca where it turns into Union St. It will intersect with Main St (IL-170)...from there you can either turn left and go over the bridge then turn right and follow that all the way into Ottawa and Starved Rock (although, Rt. 71 is probably still closed, so you'll have to skirt around it to get to the park)...OR...you can turn right and head north on Main St towards Rt. 6, make a left and you're right at Fat Daddyz. Just thought I'd throw out another nice route in case you guys haven't done these roads yet. Give 'em a try...you won't be disappointed.
