Candy azz and I were thinking of a little pub crawl/meet and greet on Sunday. Start at I80 and Holbolt exit at the Cracker Barrel (Joliet Il.).
I'm think 9:30am for breakfast and leaving at around 10:30 am. head down Route 6 towards Starve Rock and then back with astop
at Fat Daddy's. There are a few other cool bars along the River, so I'm open for suggestions.

Rich, Thanks for the heads up. I won't be able to make it. I have to coach again at 3. I may do a quick ride Sunday beginning at the Broken Oar at 10 am. A few friends are meeting there. I will only get a few hours in and have to tail it back home.

Not 100% sure I'm in yet, but it's looking like it. I have nothing else going on.

Weather Channel is calling for high of 78*, but windy. Wind I can deal with. It just takes me longer to get somewhere. Damn Apes turn me into a human parachute.

I've got friends coming down from Gurnee. They'll be on baggers and run the expressway all the way in.
I've been telling most of the people meet at 9:30am and leave at 10:30am. So that may give you a little more time. You can take 59 and go thru joliet and down Holbolt (not sure what the name maybe when it meets 59) or 59 to 55 south to route 80 towards Indiana and exit Holbolt Rd and the Crackle Barrel is right there. The ride is pretty awsome not a lot of traffic and at least a half a dozen bars. Starved Rock if you haven't beenhas a lodge/bar an a overlook at the river.Another favorite is Snug Harbor this bar is right on the river and the last stop is a bar called Fat Daddy's great food!

lol actually I'm not a big drinking at all, but it's a good chance to meet people see some nice scoots and do some people watching....because you see all kinds! It's a nice ride with a few destinations and it's no where as crowded as riding up north. Hope you and a few people from the forum can get out.

 

i would love to go but the ride is in the shop until tuesday. new mods being installed!!!!!!

 

I'm on the East side of St Charles. I amgoing togo straight down 59. It'll be windy enough without being on the tollways.
We could meet up at the Starbuck's in the strip mall onSoutwest corner of 64 and 59. Say about 8am?

 

Ahh man...I wanna do this one, but have to weasel out of another commitment first. We'll see.
