Saturday October 13th- Xbt2 will lead the IL/WI Motley Bikersout to Galena IL and westward across the Mississippi River into Iowa where the venerable JB will take over and lead us Northward along the Mississippi in all it's glorious fall color splendor to Balltown Ia,Home of Iowa's oldest eating establishment Breitbach's Country Dining, open since 1852 and justly famed for its fried chicken, barbecued ribs and fresh pie.After dining at Breitbach's JB will lead us further Northward and then back across the Mississippi River into Wisconsin's 2nd oldest city:Prairie du Chien located near the confluence of the Wisconsin River and the Mississippi River.---From Prairie du Chien we'll head Southward back towards Illinoisdown along the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi.

This is going to be the best ride yet. I sure hope I can make it. -- EDIT!! DUH! That's the weekend I'll be in Vegas, so I guess I won't. Bitchin' ride, though.

 

You all suck!!! I will have 88 fresh, young, punks, I meanRecruits on this day.. Wish I could join you, however, the bike goes into storage on Monday. Catch you all in the spring!!!!

 

what are you talking about storage! are you crazy we have at least a month to ride snowgirl

 

Because Snowgirl = Recruit Division Commander (aka Drill Instructor)= 88 Recruits = Working 0400-2200 at night 7 days a week for 6-9 wks straight..... So what the final math equals..... No time to ride....... It's bad enough I have to figure out when to do laundry, sleep and buy food..... Riding is small on the priority list when and if I get time off....

Sounds rough Snowy, we'll miss you -- I mean they'll miss you, I guess I'm not going either. (See post above somewhere.)

Also, you should consider storing your Sporty in my garage. I promise I won't take it for joy rides.

 

Strag... You can ride my sporty anytime... Lucky me, my garage is big enough for my bike and my car and.... It's heated I was wondering why you said you'd be at the ride that day when you'd be in Vegas

 

I really want ot do this ride, but have a surprise b'day party to be at at 6:30pm.Anyone know ifthere's a good jump-off point for me on this route so I'll be home in time?
