Yep but 4 of the roads that I normally use when I make that run were still under construction from being washed out after the flooding they had this summer, so it took me a bit longer so at the out side about it should be about 3 1/2 hours from Dubuque up the river on the IA. side and then back down the WI. side to Dickyville. Thats including stops at Balltown and Pikes Peak Park. If after getting to Pikes Peak and its getting late I have an alternate route that is a more direct route South and East getting you a lot closer to were you guys are heading for the trip home.
P.S.
Depending on the time we hit DBQ. if at noon or before you should be on the way home by about 3 or a bit after thats running both sides of the river.

I was in Balltown this past sat... the buffet is inexpensive and has chick & ribs plus ham & pork loin. 2 of us ate (drank water) for $17.01 total! There were about 200-250 bikes there for lunch with more arriving as we left. The trees are just starting to turn color... it wasnt as good as we had hoped. We left Balltown and headed into Dubuque and caught hiway 52 south to Sabula. The stop in Bellevue to watch a coal barge get loaded into the lock was awesome. All told I put 400 miles on the bike in 11 hrs and had a great ride. I MAY catchup with you folks Sat depending on weather.

What time do you folks expect to be in Dubuque? Are there still plans on stopping & meeting at the gas station at Sageville??? I would like to ride with you folks to Balltown and Prairie Du Chien. Also my HOG chapter, Hawkeye Harley, will be riding to Balltown that day too and usually has 50-70 bikes/riders. Im thinking if its a nice day, they will be swamped for lunch.
