I cut out early since we were up near myarea of the state.
Do we get a prize for best gas mileage? I got 47 from St. Johns to home.

Rob, and everyone in MI on HDF

A suggestion for next year -- that we make the get together time 9:30 AM (if in mid MI) and that we ride around the thumb (which means we meet on the lake shore (say, Lexington)). Mind out, this is just a suggestion.

Great ride and great people, what more could you ask for.

I had a blast riding and meeting all of you last Saturday.

The route was very nice and the company was also excellent.

You never know what you are getting into when you get a group together that has never met before , my complements to all of you the group dynamics were great and I think we rode very well as a group.

I am all for another ride, the Thumb area is a great choice, heck why only do this once a year, perhaps we could do a Fall ride.

 

A fall ride sounds very good. However, it would have to be without me (d***). Not able to ride after mid Spetember (surgery planned). So, to the rest of you, keep me informed as I can always be there in spirit.

A thumb ride would be a great idea. I'm trying to get my in-laws to make a ride around there this summer.

A ride to Port Austin is what I want to do sometime soon. I used to go there as a kid and remember how cool it was back in the 60's.....

Appears it would be about 8 hours round trip taking the backroads.
