I heard from one on my Illinois buddy's that the right to
decide "wear a helmet" was passed here in Missouri. I can't
find any news of this on-line. Anyone know about this for
sure?

 

Haven't heard, but I bet if you got on your local ABATE sight they would have some information.

 

I heard that it had passed the senate commity and is in the senate now.

HB155 has voted do pass out of committee. Senator Gibbons has placed it on the calendar ( we are #7).

[/align] The fate of HB155 then rests in the hands of Senator Shields who is in charge of bringing bill off the calendar and onto the floor for debate and voting purposes.

Yeah, passed in the House, was voted Do Pass in Senate Committee, but the wonderful Senator Graham from Columbia threatened a filibuster if it came to a vote.
