Chicago Harley-Davidson Online Ordering Sucks!
More than two weeks ago I ordered just a regular Harley-Davidson service manual for my '08 Softail Custom. I ordered it from CHD because of the 20% discount. CHD immediately charged my credit card.
Last night I called to check on the status of my order and was told by "George" in the internet department that it would be another three weeks! I promptly cancilled my order.
I don't deal with these deceptive internet companies that charge your card immediately then sit on your order for months.
So long Chicago HD, don't think its been nice doing business with you because it hasn't.

so does latus and surdyke. ordered from surdyke in the past and literally takes about 6 - 8 days before you receive a UPS notifcation.
just ordered from latus a couple of weeks ago, same thing. even though you specify online when ordering the exact part numbers, instead of them shipping me a .120 cam spacer, they send me a .100 spacer with the part number clearly stamped on it. In my case the .120 was actually what was on my bike stock so I did have in hand the .130 spacer. then they send me a week later, the correct .120 spacer and a UPS label to ship the .110 back to them.. LOL $8 ups shipping for a $5 part... where's the logic in that. and we wonder why HD parts are so expensive.
