Just called them looking at a rolling chassis. Asked 2 questions about shipping and insurance on the shipment... the guy cut me off and said "Look man, all the info is on our website"... I told him I'd rather deal with a person not a website... the reply I got was "that's why we post the answers on the website".

Screw them... If I am spending $3000 + on something I expect some form of person to person customer service. I'll take my $3000+ somewhere else.

Demon Cycles SUCKS!

 

Hmmm, I read a lot of these post's and came close to not doing it, but I decided to try Demon Cycles out, and I'm glad I did. I have a 1998 Fatboy, and bought their forward controls. These forward controls are (Make No Mistake) pure quality period. The chrome is excellent, everything about them are CNC machined to perfection. I hate to hear about some of the experiences here, but I have to say mine was really good, I ordered them and the shipping was so fast I couldn't believe it. I couldn't be more pleased with these forward controls, my experience was very positive.

 

I was reading through these forums on Demons and was blown away by some of the comments made. I have been riding for a long time and custom accessories for my bike is routine. I have dealt with Demons on several occasions and have had nothing but success with them.

My latest purchase was last week, Monday June 9th at 10:30 pm. I purchased a new set of 16” Apes for my RK. I chose the “Buy It Now” option. Within a few minutes I was provided a confirmation that my order was received. Tuesday, early AM, I was sent a notification that my order was processed, shipped and given a tracking number. I received my package mid day Friday and was riding with my new bars that evening. That is very impressive service, not to mention it was 2000 miles away.

As far as quality, I have never had an issue with the products I have purchased. I heard mention in the forum that its overseas junk. I hate to tell you this, but if you look at your Harley accessories, they all say made in Taiwan and the last time I checked, Taiwan was not in Wisconsin.

It is America and you do have choices, but while you are waiting for your new accessories or a loan to pay for them, I will be riding with my new stuff I got from Demons.

Should be interesting to see their feedback now that buyers can leave negatives without fear of retribution!

ok, so my opinion after reading all this and checking ebay (looking at feedback):

1 in 100 customers is dissatisfied. 35,000 ebay transactions equates to 350 negatives. Of those write-off at least 40% of them to dumbass buyers not knowing what they are purchasing. Now we are down to 210. I'd say another 20% could be honest error considering volume of shipping. so 168 is left. Boil it down another 50% of that being the shippers fault cuz we KNOW how shipping comapnies treat packages and you've got yourself 84 people that got bad/wrong parts. Really, these guys are a builders supplier and as such, are catering to the guys that aren't afraid to break out the welder, or hammer and dollies to BUILD a bike. You guys want bolt ons for your 4 foot wide super dyna whatever harley? GO TO HARLEY!
