My buddy has a custom softail that had drag bars on (bike was built in 96'). He bought ape bars on impulse and bought everything he thought he needed for the install (cables, riser, switches, etc...).

The original bars are 1" that he ran single switches, one on both sides, starter and lights. He bought PM single switch controls. The left side switch install went well........... But the right side ain't so good. He has PM front brake controls w/master cylinder and of course throttle.

Two issues, there isn't enough room for the switch. Installing switch, lever/MC, then throttle. There isn't enough bar left for the throttle. Installing lever/MC, switch, then throttle the MC hits the flare to 1.25" of the bar (besides the room for the throttle).

Is the only option to buy a new right side lever/MC with controls incorporated?
