hello everyone was curious on thoughts about the 1000 mile first service.my question is how critical is it to be done on the 1000 mark?i am in a situation where i may not have enough miles to have it done before leaving for a rally and don't want to cause any problems if i run over.

I was under the impression that if you miss the 1K service you would run into warranty issues. Probably not a huge deal but **** happens. I can speak to this as my bike had to get a new motor at 300 miles. I would stick to the service plan just to be covered.

 

I plan on having the dealer do the 1k, will do the rest after that on my own
