Default 12 inch Paul Yaffe Monkey Bars

I have heard some people say that you do NOT have to have a longer brake line and clutch cable when installing these bars on a Street Glide (08 FHLX) but you do have to extend the wires ??? And is it necessary to buy the wire kit or could I find the same size wire as the harness and and add what I need?

Shouldn't need a brake line. Clutch cable should be fine if you route the cable differently. If you are going to internally wire the bars you will need to extend them, you don't need the extension kit, just makes it a little easier. Be careful pulling them through with that hook in those bars.

What about tbw? Do I need to get an extension for the tbw?

There too, can use similar wire or extension kit, up to you. Or easiest way would be to buy H-D's extended one, then no soldering involved. Internal wiring is easier if you cut out the connector they run in the bars. Just keep track of the wires.
