Default 93 FLHTC Fairing brackets

Is any one familiar with what batwing fairing & brackets will bolt up to a 93 Electra Glide Classic (bread box type instruments) ? As far as I can see the outer OEM 58198-86 is available but the inner 58196-88 is not. I wouldn't mind running just the outer alone, but it looks as thought the brackets 58478(L) & 79(R) -86A mount to the inner fairing and not to the outer. Therefore I've got an issue since the inner is obsolete.
The question is, am I assuming correctly that the older models had no inner fairing, and the brackets for a 1985 #'s 58151-83(R) & 58154-83(L) mounted directly to the outer ? ? ?
I'd greatly appreciate any help with this ............ Thanks in advance.

I have an '83 batwing on my 1990 Glide, with a pair of brackets I made myself, similar to the stock FLH ones, 58151-83(R) & 58154-83(L), adjusted to fit as I wanted. Those fairings are glass-fibre, very stiff and were indeed held on with just two sturdy mountings. They won't fit the later batwings, with the integral dash like yours.
