Default How to "draw' on a Harley windshield?

I'm going to add a design to my windshield. The way I add designs to helmets is to draw on it with pencil, which gives me an outline guide and when the design is done, I wipe off the pencil. (FYI I design with crystals).

Pencil won't make a mark at all on my windshield. I'm at a loss to think of something that will mark on it but not be permanent. Any thoughts?? Tx

No problem. I got a million of 'em. Ideas. I use the dry erase pen to write the date on frozen food containers, and containers I put in the fridge with left-overs.

I use a dry erase marker to mark routes/turns when I'm headed to a particular area/route/etc.
L (OR N) 412 left/north on rt 412
R (OR S) 17 right/south on rt 17
R 623
L MAIN ST
R ELM ST.

I write them on the mirrors. When I make the turn I just wipe that turn off the mirror. Your eyes have no problem reading through the writing when looking in the mirrors. I've also used the speedo lens but found that it's too far down and requires that I actually look down, and then have to take my eyes off the road. The mirrors work much better.

I'm going to try that next time I take a road trip

Wet erase work well too and won't rub off if you wipe it while working. Comes straight off with water. +1 on the china marker too.
