I didn't like the idea of storing my bike on the on the kick stand. It takes up far more room than if it were standing straight. I have seen a couple stands that were avaialbe for purchase but I had some stuff laying around from some other projects so I made this.

I figured I would share the idea.

With this stand I was able to remove the front wheel to replace the rotors and if I move the stand back under the bike it will life the rear tire also.

 

Cool, that type of stand/jack has been around for many years not many take the time to actually make one.

 

I could easily see how if you had to buy all the stuff to mkae one where it would not be cost evffective at all.

I like the challenge of making ting myself just to see if I can. It was a fun project.

 

Did you drop a nut pulling it up though?
