Buddys Bike sitting all winter
I have a buddy I have been trying to gethim out all summer last year and have been talking to him this winter on going to the state HOG rally. Well he wants to go but his bike has been sitting for at least 7-8 months with out being out. He said he tries to start it once and awhile I told him that’s not the best thing to do. But to the question Should he just Drain the gas and change plug's and check tires or should he bite the bullet and spend the time and money to have the Dealership do a complete service? (My Suggestion)..

RE: Buddys Bike sitting all winter
Change all the fluids, including the fuel.
Very carefully inspect the tires for flat spots.
Lube things like cables and controls.
Check battery terminals for corrosion.
Check lights, brakes, and generally everything.
Go riding for a while. All is good. It's a motorcycle, not the space shuttle.
