Default FLHTCU saddlebag lock issue

Have a 2009 FLHTCU. Key works everything except the one saddlebag on right side. Bought the bike used at a H.D.Dealer. Didn't notice it until a while later. Wondering if there's anything I can do to the lock or if it's a dealer fix only?

It may be that lock has been changed, or there is a fault with it. Talk to the dealer! It is reasonable to expect them all to be fine, just explain things as you have here. Be nice! They may fix or replace it for you. If you don't ask....

I had the same problem with my tour pak lock on the new trike I bought. Sometimes it would work, sometimes not. Being a locksmith, I could have fixed it myself but opted to have the lock replaced under warranty. Nice that I did because it came with 2 extra keys. Not that I can't make my own keys but I now have 4 that operate all the locks. If the dealer won't fix yours, you may check with your local locksmith.

Will the key fit but wont turn?
Could be that the PO changed the lock or it is locked up from corrosion.
Check to see if there is any play in the lock tab.If there is,you may not have the correct key.
