Default Which bike to bike intercom system do you use?

I'm looking in to purchasing a bike to bike intercom system but I have no idea what brands are most worth while.

Please tell me what system you use and what the pros and cons of that system are.

I would really appreciate any input that you have.

Thanks.

P S I looked for this topic on the search function but came up with nothing so if there is already a thread on this topic I couldn't find it.

I talked to my uncle and he suggests a CB radio instead. He told me to get the one J&M makes but the cost of that is crazy.

Anyone have any input at all?

I'm thinking I might just stick with hand signals.

I saw the SENA SPH10H, it fits the half helmets. I am thinking of picking one up.

we use the cardo G4, but we also use the fullface.. the next time we get a system it will not be the cardo, we have had nothing but probs. with it.. 3 times we have had to use the warrenty because the speakers quit working on her set and then on mine and for the money i dont think it was worth the price, $500 for problems? dont think so... when the system does work its great, they claim up to a mile between units, but its more like a 1/2 mile which is the most separation that we have had so on that note it worked fine.....
keep looking, keep searching and keep asking around

Sena SMH10D. Not cheap but allows passenger to driver and bike to bike communications. Also allows the rider and passenger to each pair it up to their own bluetooth device. Works with various helmet styles.

We use the Cardo Q2 set,we have 3/4 helmets and the system works great, the only thing you will have to do is put some foam into the ear cavity to get the max hearing and also we put duct tape over the front of the mic to cut down the air noise,we can hear each other pretty good with these devices, you can also set up your phone and use a gps with it as well.We get about 600 yards before it starts to cut out but there a great rig for helping one another on the road,ie,gravel debris on the road, etc, plus it gives you someone to talk while riding, also you can rig it up to get the radio also, but we just use to talk back and forth.WE would like to upgrade to the Q4 eventually but we've had this set up for 4 years and we love it,you can get a full days ride in on 1 charge,we turn them off when we stop to conserve battery power.Hope this helps you.

Not sure if you would be talking to many other "Bikes" on a CB.

2 of us have the Cardo Scala g4 and another has the g9. They work great when they work. My speakers died on the 2 nd long trip with the unit and my buddies g9 died after 2'months. Both were replaced immediately under warrantee, but it didn't do me any good on our 9 day trip. They seemed like the best option when I researched them last year
