Default Replacing Grips

With the new electronic throttle control, how hard is it to replace the grip? I've done it a couple times on the cable type, but there must be something different here. Thanks

I have just changed the handlebars and new heated grips. It was an easy job. Just remove the housing for the brakehandle, and then you can pull the grip off. You need a new grip that is built for the drive by wire system.

Super easy. Make sure you buy the right type of grips for electronic throttle first. Undo the switch housing on the throttle side remove old grip, push new grip on and refasten the housing around the grip when you have it in position. There will be some slight play but that is normal. No need to remove switch housing on left side, the grips are different and that side just glues on flush with the sticky two sided tape that is provided. Good luck.
