I live in Alberta Canada. I've recently purchased the Curved license plate mounting Kit for my 2005 Softail Deluxe. The problem is, the mounting kit seems to be almost a 1/2" too small all the way around. The plate itself is larger than the the new curved mount! First question that comes to mind is, are the American bike License plates smaller and fit the HD kit I bought. I think I'm right but wanted to hear from someone else out there. The kit I bought is Pt# 67900007. Any help would be appreciated.
