Question Jiffy Stand pad question!

Just bought a jiffy stand(kickstand) pad for hot days on asphalt or gravel roads and am a little stumped on how to safely get it on when arriving at my destination if alone. Sounded like a nobrainer at first..

Having ridden bikes for over 40 years my experience is that time is on your side. In other words, unless the ground is very soft, you should be able to safely get off your bike, then put the pad under the stand. On very soft ground the pads I have seen and used probably won't be up to the job anyway. Also park so the bike is reasonably upright, not leaning over at too much of an angle. That will reduce the load on the pad.

Hope that helps.
