Default Throttle cables

Hi people.
I am replacing my switch blocks with chrome and cannot work out how the throttle cables are removed from the block

Can anyone help

There is a teeny, tiny snap ring that holds the metal end in the housing. Some people fool around with trying to take it off. I just give the cable a good yank. It comes right out without damage and will pop back in just fine.
