My first post was in reference to stainless fastener quality from the hardware store.

I bet those bolts you bought 25 years ago were much better quality than the cheap Chinese junk that is common today.

OK, the impact driver (Sears cost $19.99) worked like a charm! Got all the torx out, so I'm good to go. I put in chrome button-head allen's. They look great. Thanks for the input everyone!
