2004 electra-glide oil problem
oil light is on, engine makes tapping noise, oil pump problem is this a fixable problem

Don't run it and have it looked at by a qualified wrench. It can be fixed, but the longer you run it the more it will cost.

Sounds like you have lost oil pressure. The tapping noise is probable collapsed lifters due to no oil pressure. If it is the oil pump - yes it is fixable, but don't do more damage by running it with no oil pressure!
