Default horns and rain

have an 09 RK with 17k miles on it. when riding in the rain, the horn does not work. dealer says they will replace it one time under warranty...but it will probably still not work in the rain. how can h-d moco get away with this. state law requires a horn that works on bikes. ride to get bike inspected when it is raining and bike will not pass inspection! a horn is even more important in the rain due to poor visibility. IS THERE SOME WAY TO WATERPROOF HORN?

I ride in the rain and I had to epoxy a super fine screen in the opening if the horn. Worked for me.

no one can hear those anyway. get yourself this:http://www.rivcoproducts.com/product...4&cat=0&page=1
I got them installed on my bike. big difference, no rain problem had to mount them low on the front so as not to scrape front fender, butno problems now. just sayin...
