Red face Speedometer

Bought a combination speedo/tach for my 2007 FXDB. Thought the instructions would tell me how to replace the speedo, but all it says is "Remove the speedometer following the instructions in the service manual". I didn't want to remove a wrong screw, and some plate fall out that I could never get back in, so I'm asking anyone here who has done it before on this model - Is removing the dash as easy as removing the 2 screws on the face of the dash and one under the tongue of the seat? Does the speedo have a retaining ring like on the softails? If you could give me a step-by-step walkthrough, I'd be grateful.

I'm new to the forum, so I'm not sure how to look for responses if they don't appear under the thread - if you wouldn't mind, also email response to tonytwoton@hotmail.com - thanks.
