Default TC 88 engine heat

Geez...how damn hot do these things run. After riding a while I don't even want to put my right foot down because the rear rocker cover is so hot.

Pretty damn hot.

I get most of my heat from the oil tank.

Im in the habit of just dropping my left leg anymore on hot days.

I guess its better than having hot air pulled thru a radiator and blown on you.

You can certainly feel the heat coming off the engine when you stop, however, EFI models will try to reduce the heat at idle by first cutting down the idle speed, and then reducing the firing strokes.
