What do you see in your mirrors?
I just picked up my FXCWC, and I don't think I have enough reach in my mirrors. I don't see the road behind me at all, and don't see any cars behind me no matter how far or close they are. Is this how your mirrors are?
My view is blocked by my fore- and upper arms. I'm 6'0", perhaps a bit wider back than average - perhaps this has something to do with it.
I saw HD has a mirror stem extension on their site, but they just raise the mirrors. I would need them to go wider so I can see behind me. What would be a good solution?
This is my first bike so I would really like to see what's happening behind me

Can't help you on a solution for this one. I am wider than most and every bike I have owned has been that way. I rotate (the mirror only) down slightly. That gives me a little more side view but if I want to see behind me I have to drop my elbow.

how bout, depending on the bike, putting wider bars on so the mirrors are out farther? Wide beach bars or apes at shoulder level height. just a thought

i see...NOTHING in my mirrors.
nothing of importance anyway.
they're there more because they're my turn signals than the fact that they're my mirrors.
full head checks for me.
