Default Battery drains quickly..

So,
I started my bike, accidentally pushed the stop button after 2 sek and when I tried to restart it: No go.
The electric starter cranked for about 15 seconds without the engine started and after this the battery is only giving me 11,5 volts.
Before this battery was loaded for several days with a CTEK and was giving 12,9V. (Before the start attempt)

1) Is it normal if turning of a fuelinjected bike prematuerely, that it is difficult to start again? (To much fuel in cylinders)
2) Is it normal that a battery drains this quickly?

(Generator is giving 14 Volts so that should be allright)

Sincerely,

Toby

Someone else may be of more help, but my bike is not harder to start if you shut it down prematurely. If it is at 14 volts with the bike running everything with the bike is good. Sound like you might have a bad battery. Also, the bike should be cranking with 11v.

if you cranked on the starter for 15 seconds that may be the reason for the battery drain. The starter puts a good load on the battery.

Also. Spoke to the salesrep. Immobiliser kicks in makeing it neccesary to turn on/off alarm, before new attempt. That would be the reason for the failure to start. 15 sec of startermotorrunning might drain the battery.

Answered my own question.
