its been awhile since I have installed grips... just installed new bars and was able to remove the grips off my old bars.. Really like them and they were still like new... I know to use grip glue - just asking for any guidance, short cuts Do's and DONT'S

I didn't use any grip glue. The left switch housing clamp locks the grip in place. Do take care to not get any wires pinched between switch housings and handle bars! Other than that, it is a simple straight-forward job. Have a couple extra throttle cable ferrules on hand and a couple extra snap rings for attaching the levers. They are cheap, and if you have them on hand that will guarantee you don't loose the ones you have. If you have no spares, you can bet you will drop and loose them.

 

My aftermarket grip on the left does Not get held by the controls... need to glue or something... last time I did this, the glue set up super fast... just looking for other ideas??

 

hair spray.....helps slip on then grips in place when dry.......
