Default Hard bag lid covers

I bought some lid covers, that appear to be leather?? But there smaller than the lid but not by much,, how do I stretch these covers so they will fit?

If they are like the HD ones or the Lid Covers from Ridetek, you can heat them up by laying them out in the sun or with a hair dryer and stretching them. Put the Velcro on the lids first then let it sit for 24 hours before attaching covers.
